A Little Bit About Us ....

Vicki and Keith Clifford launched Rata Jewellery in 2014 to offer desirable and fashionable jewellery to Dunedin and Otago. We, the owners, are a father/daughter team:-

Vicki has worked in jewellery retail and manufacture for 15 years in Dunedin and also studied marketing at Otago University

''Jewellery is such a beautiful expression of who you are....To be able to have my own store, and be able to celebrate such amazing talent from NZ and around the world is a dream come true, and to do it with my Dad is an added bonus!”

Keith is a qualified accountant and has lived and worked in Dunedin for over 20 years with a background in commercial financial management.

“I’ve always wanted to run my own business, so with Vicki’s experience we have a complimentary combination of skills to run a great customer focussed store right here in Dunedin!”

Our aim is to offer desirable, quality jewellery which offers an alternative within an affordable price range that our customers will enjoy acquiring and will feel amazing wearing. We specialise in NZ designers but also import ranges carefully selected for you. In store we aim to give everyone a great environment to consider their purchase from the beautiful store fitting to friendly, knowledgeable staff who will help find the perfect piece for you.

You can find us in the Wall Street Mall (opposite Lush) in George Street, Dunedin only a 4 minute walk north from the Octagon. This is the prime shopping area of our city and contains a wide variety of fashion stores and excellent coffee shops.

Our store in Wall Street opened in November 2014 and we are currently developing our online store which will be open in the very near future.
